Table Runner, purple stripes (botanically dyed)
This table runner was woven on a backstrap loom by our friends at Casa Flor Ixcaco Weaving Cooperative in San Juan La Laguna at the Atitlan Lake in Guatemala.
It is made from the locally sourced cotton which was botanically dyed in different shades of mostly purple and light pink.
It looks great on modern as well as on rustic tables.
All of our pieces are made from handmade vintage traditional clothing from Guatemala or handwoven for us by indigenous women weavers.
Your purchase supports indigenous women in Guatemala and their families. Many pieces are one-of-a-kind or produced in limited numbers. Small imperfections can occur as none of our textiles are mass- or machine-produced.
In order for you to enjoy your Ixmuyal product for a long time, please hand wash all items with a mild detergent with similar colors, or have them dry cleaned. As the source fabrics are vintage textiles, please do handle them with care during the wash. Long exposure to sun can potentially bleach the colors of our textiles.
